Community Engagement
LML School's community-building initiatives foster empathy and responsibility. We've adopted a Municipal School in Lapkaman, Ahmedabad, where our students share knowledge and resources. They teach various subjects, languages, and hygiene practices through skits and songs. During Diwali, our school joins hands with underprivileged children, offering gifts like chocolates, toys, clothes, games, and essential items to share the festive spirit.
Lions Club of Ahmedabad LML Educators
Lions Club of Ahmedabad LML Educators is a speciality club. It has 134 members. This club works for many social causes and for the betterment of the society. In this pandemic situation, teachers are never left behind in doing social services. Every month, the club came up with different activities.
Our few activities commenced in recent times are:
- Club Members distributed food packets to construction workers and conducted plantation of plants at LML School premises.
- Free distribution of masks and hand sanitisers to the construction workers.
- Workshop for drivers and conductors on precautionary measures during driving.
- COVID-19 rapid tests for all employees.
- Teachers conducted various kindness-related activities for the children of construction workers and distributed food in memory of Late Shri. Rohit C. Mehta.
- LML Educators Club organized 'Kindness Matters' week (Seva Spatha) in collaboration with the Lions Quest team.
- Navratri celebrations with children at the construction site, including the distribution of food packets and utensils to young girls.
- Workshop on E-waste
- Green Buddy drive – not only planting but nurturing the sapling you plant.
